Professional experience

Andreas Hauenstein is head of the litigation and arbitration team. For more than 20 years, Andreas Hauenstein has advised and acted as counsel to companies and individuals in disputes concerning commercial and corporate law, contract law, employment law as well as debt enforcement and bankruptcy law. Due to his consistent focus on dispute resolution in contract and commercial law cases, Andreas Hauenstein has a lot of experience in out-of-court disputes and negotiations, as well as the management of complex litigation and arbitration proceedings in a national as well as international context.

Andreas Hauenstein has special expertise in the representation of shareholders, shareholder groups or corporations in all sorts of corporate law matters and disputes. Acting as counsel to shareholders, corporations and corporate bodies in cases of liability of directors and officers in particular is a core area of his practice. Andreas Hauenstein also has special experience in acting as counsel to private and institutional clients in disputes against banks relating to investment advisory and investment management contracts. Another core area of his practice is the recovery of assets, in particular in cases of fraud. Further, Andreas Hauenstein acts as counsel in cases of mutual legal assistance in criminal matters.
